Shade and heat rejection are not the same thing. A cheap 5% dyed film is nearly black and still lets the cabin cook, because it blocks visible light and very little infrared. Will ceramic tint interfere with my phone or GPS?
No. It contains no metal, so there is no signal attenuation.
Can I get ceramic in a light shade?

How does it compare to a factory privacy glass?
Factory privacy glass is dyed glass — it gives you a dark look with very little heat rejection. Adding ceramic film over it is common and effective.
