UV & Fade Protection Window Film for New Hampshire Homes
Stop the sun from bleaching your floors, your furniture, and the art you actually care about.
Fading is cumulative and it is permanent. Ultraviolet light is the largest single cause, followed by visible light and heat. You usually notice it when you move a rug and find the hardwood underneath is two shades darker than the floor around it, or when the left arm of the sofa no longer matches the right. Once that happens, refinishing or reupholstering is the only fix.
UV film stops the biggest driver of that damage immediately, and it can be effectively invisible — a good option for historic homes and neighborhoods where a tinted look is not wanted. For the highest level of protection, we pair UV rejection with heat and glare reduction so visible light and infrared are addressed too. The same films are used on our retail storefront work, where fading merchandise is a direct cost.
Benefits
Why uv & fade protection is worth it
99%+ UV-A and UV-B rejection
The dominant cause of fading is removed the day the film goes on.
Protects flooring
Hardwood, engineered, luxury vinyl, and area rugs all hold their original color far longer.
Protects furnishings
Leather, fabric, wood finishes, and window treatments stop breaking down prematurely.
Safer indoors
The same UV rejection reduces skin exposure for people who spend hours in a sun-filled room.
Effectively invisible options
Clear UV film is undetectable from inside and outside — no change to your curb appeal.
Lifetime residential warranty
XPEL residential film is warranted against bubbling, peeling, cracking, and color change.

FAQ
Common questions
Does window film stop 100% of fading?
No product does. UV is the largest factor and film removes almost all of it; adding heat and visible light control gets you as close as the industry can.
Is clear UV film really invisible?
From normal viewing distance, yes. Most people cannot tell a treated window from an untreated one.
Will it protect a specific painting or rug?
Tell us what you are protecting and where it sits. We will spec the film to the exposure of that specific window.
Does UV film reduce heat too?
Slightly. Clear UV film is primarily a fade product. If you also feel heat, we will recommend a ceramic film instead.
