Paint Protection Film (PPF) in New Hampshire

Self-healing urethane between your paint and everything New Hampshire roads throw at it.

New England roads are uniquely hard on paint. Winter sand and salt, frost heaves, gravel shoulders, and I-93 and I-89 at highway speed put a steady stream of debris into your front end. Rock chips are not a cosmetic annoyance — they are where corrosion starts, and they are one of the first things a dealer marks down at trade-in.

Paint protection film is a clear urethane layer that absorbs those impacts. XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS is self-healing: light swirls and scratches disappear with heat from the sun or warm water. It is cut from XPEL's DAP pattern database for your specific vehicle, and on most panels we can wrap the edges so there is no visible film line. PPF pairs naturally with ceramic coating on top for chemical resistance and easier washing, and with windshield protection film for the one panel PPF cannot cover.

Benefits

Why paint protection film is worth it

01

Stops rock chips

Urethane absorbs impacts from sand, salt, and gravel before they reach paint.

02

Self-healing finish

Light scratches and swirl marks vanish with heat from the sun or warm water.

03

Non-yellowing clarity

The film stays optically clear over years of sun exposure.

04

Protects resale value

Original factory paint under film is worth more than repainted panels.

05

Edge-wrapped where possible

Film is tucked around panel edges so the installation is nearly invisible.

06

Removable without damage

Professionally removed later with no harm to factory paint.

What to expect

How the project runs

  1. 01

    Coverage consultation

We walk the car and recommend coverage based on how and where you drive, not a fixed upsell ladder.

  2. 02

    Decontamination and prep

Panels are washed, clayed, and chemically decontaminated so nothing is trapped under the film.

  3. 03

    Pattern-cut installation

DAP patterns are plotted for your exact vehicle, then wrapped and tucked panel by panel.

  4. 04

    Cure and inspection

Film needs cure time before washing. We inspect every edge with you at pickup.

FAQ

Common questions

Is PPF the same as ceramic coating?

No. PPF is a physical urethane barrier against impact. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer for gloss, water beading, and easier cleaning. They work best together.

Can you see the film?

On a properly installed job, barely. We wrap edges where the panel allows so there is no visible line.

How long does PPF last?

XPEL ULTIMATE PLUS carries a 10-year manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking, and delamination.

Can PPF go over an existing repaint?

Yes, if the paint is fully cured and properly adhered. Tell us about any bodywork and we will inspect it first.

Does it protect against salt and winter damage?

It shields the paint underneath from sand and salt abrasion, which is exactly the New Hampshire winter problem.
