Boats on Winnipesaukee, Sunapee, and the seacoast take more UV punishment than anything in your driveway. Water reflects sunlight straight back up into the cabin and helm, so glass that would be manageable on land becomes brutal on the water. Marine window film cuts the heat and glare, protects upholstery and dash materials from fading and cracking, and adds privacy at the dock.
The install approach is closer to automotive tinting than flat glass work: curved cabin glass, tight corners, and non-standard shapes all need heat-forming and hand-cut patterns. If your boat also has flat side windows, we may use flat-glass heat control film on those for better optical performance.

Marine tinting questions
Can you tint curved boat glass?
Yes. Cabin and helm glass is often curved, so we heat-form the film to the shape rather than forcing a flat sheet onto a compound curve.
Will marine film hold up to salt and sun?
We use films rated for high UV exposure with adhesives that tolerate constant moisture. They are the same quality tier as our automotive line.
Do you come to the boat?
For larger vessels we can work on site at the marina or in your slip. Smaller boats on trailers can come to the Epsom shop.
Does film help with cabin heat?
Substantially. A closed cabin behaves like a greenhouse; rejecting infrared before it enters is the fastest way to make it usable at midday.
Can I get privacy for the cabin?
Yes — reflective and frosted options both work. We will show you what each one looks like from outside the boat before ordering.
